Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Encrypt Consulting ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use encryptconsulting.com and related pages (the "Site"). It is part of our Terms of Service. We keep data collection to what we need to run the Site and respond to you.
2. Information We Collect
- Information you give us: name, email address, company name (where asked), and the message or details you write, when you use the free strategy session form and the contact form, email us, or book a call.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and timestamps, which our hosting and service providers record automatically in server logs.
- Email interactions: if we email you, our email providers record delivery events such as delivered, bounced, or unsubscribed.
Business contacts: besides information submitted on this site, we keep business contact details (such as name, company, role, business email, phone, and website) of people we meet at events, receive through referrals or business cards, or find in professional and public business sources, so we can follow up about our services. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, payment card numbers, biometric data, or health information through the Site. Please do not send these to us.
4. How We Use Information
- Respond to your inquiries and requests and schedule calls or meetings.
- Provide, operate, and improve the Site and our services.
- Send you information about our services by email where permitted by law, always with a way to opt out.
- Keep the Site secure, prevent abuse (including scraping and spam), and debug problems.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf, to comply with law, or to protect our rights. Providers we currently use:
- Vercel: hosts our websites.
- Railway: hosts the database and API that receive form submissions and our internal CRM data.
- Brevo: sends notification emails and manages contact lists.
- Resend: delivers the business emails we send from our CRM.
- Calendly: schedules meetings you choose to book.
- Google Fonts: serves the fonts used on our pages.
- AI service providers: help us organize contact information, prioritize outreach, and draft messages. We do not allow them to use your information to train their models where that control is available to us.
We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or if required by law or legal process.
6. Email Communications
If you contact us or we have a business relationship or prior conversation with you, we may send you emails about our services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply or write to luis@encryptconsulting.com to opt out. When you unsubscribe, we stop marketing emails to that address. We may still send transactional or service messages related to an active engagement or request.
7. Cookies and Third-Party Content
The Site does not set advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Some features load content from third parties: Google Fonts (which receives your IP address to serve fonts) and Calendly (if you open its scheduling page, where Calendly's own privacy policy applies). Our hosting provider may collect standard request logs. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, including to respond to you, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Economic Area), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email luis@encryptconsulting.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
12. International Visitors
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using the Site from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page.
